The Raffles Da Nang Resort and Residences Da Nang will cost 65 million USD and feature 150 hotel suites and 15 private residential villas on 154,000 square metres of beachfront property. Electric bicycles, motorbikes and all means of motorized transport are not allowed anymore on the streets of the old ancient town of Hoi An on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8h00 to 11h00 in the morning and from 14h30 to 16h30 and 19h00 to 21h00 in the evening. Due to this change, the local authorities hope to bring a quiet and comfortable atmosphere to visitors as well as to preserve the ancient architecture of the town, according to Mr. Truong Van Bay, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoi An. |
