The Raffles Da Nang Resort and Residences Da Nang will cost 65 million USD and feature 150 hotel suites and 15 private residential villas on 154,000 square metres of beachfront property. This will be KHI's first hotel in Vietnam, and is expected to open in 2011

The judges for the distinguished Travel & Leisure magazine annual “Design Awards” have named Nam Hai Resort & Spa as the best resort category in the world for 2008. The decision was made by a group of 7 design industry experts, who, in the publication’s March issue, launched the Nam Hai as a high – style take on the local.

ACCOR has announced its largest expansion in Vietnam - at least 20 hotels by the end of 2010 from eight now -to be opened in areas that are critically undersupplied with rooms such as Hanoi, Sapa and Halong Bay.

Electric bicycles, motorbikes and all means of motorized transport are not allowed anymore on the streets of the old ancient town of Hoi An on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8h00 to 11h00 in the morning and from 14h30 to 16h30 and 19h00 to 21h00 in the evening.
Due to this change, the local authorities hope to bring a quiet and comfortable atmosphere to visitors as well as to preserve the ancient architecture of the town, according to Mr. Truong Van Bay, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoi An.
